[By this point, it's been a few weeks since he's been with Dualscar, and he's adjusted to it. The seadweller doesn't always stay at the hive, which is understandable. Someone of his caste is expected to stay busy. Each time he returns, the Psiioniic nearly clings to him, wanting to hear news- or even lack of it- concerning his three friends.]

[Besides that, on his own, the Psiioniic mostly sticks to the library. Occasionally he explores the large hive again, wondering if anything has changed. It's a calm routine. For someone like him, it nearly feels unnatural.]

[...Which is quite possibly one reason explaining why, one night, he manages to get a hold of yellow dye and interrupts a drone on laundry duty. The next night, and it's done.]

[A bored rebel psionic was a disaster just waiting.]

[By now, he's stayed in the kitchen, idly chattering at his drone as he watches the kitchen worker make breakfast. It's almost like he's entirely forgotten about his little prank.]

[Which he hasn't, but he needs something to do to pass the time until it's discovered.]

[And then a certain drone begins to wiggle beneath the Psiioniic's arm and cling to his side.]

[Sorry, Dualscar, you are being ignored as Psii twists away to fuss over the shaking drone.]

I forgot about you! Thorry, I bet you aren't uthed to high level thyonicsth being tothed around, huh?

[Pulling his legs away from Dualscar, the Psiioniic begins to pat and croon to the scared drone, reassuring it.]

[Dualscar hums appreciatively, arching into the crackling touches, feeling the energy all over his skin. This is good, this is beautiful, this is...]

[How much would a new drone cost, because seriously...]

[... no, he can't do anything to the drone. The Psiioniic would probably rip him apart with his lightshows if he tried.]

[All right, fine, he won't do anything to the drone. But all those affectionate, comforting headpats he gave it earlier? He's taking those back.]

[Fuck you, drone.]

[Dualscar rearranges himself, pulling one knee up and towards his chest and rocking back on one hand. He bumps an orange when he moves, and he picks it up and rolls it towards the Psiioniic and the drone.]

Give it that.

[There's no hiding the irritation in his voice.]

It'll probably help, yeah.

[Patting the drone on the head, the Psiioniic continues to coo and click. The sounds and the familiar task of the orange seem to calm the drone down enough, and it curls against his chest. With that settled, he glances back at Dualscar and grins, just a little sly. Energy slowly drags up Dualscar's leg to his knee, like a teasing finger.]

Are you jealouth of it?

[Yes.]

[Dualscar doesn't answer, just glares, although his expression softens a bit when he feels that energy drag up his leg. His knee tilts outward a bit, exposing more of his crotch, and it becomes glaringly obvious that he was enjoying what they were doing earlier.]

Don't do your lightshowws if they're going to scare it again.

[polariity]

I jutht did too much before. It'll get over it with a little time.

[Amused, the Psiioniic continues to stroke the drone's head but doesn't take his eyes off of Dualscar. The energy begins to lazily curl around one knee before arching down to the other. It's light and fleeting against the inside of Dualscar's thigh.]

We never did finith latht time, you know.

[Dualscar watches the light flicker across his thighs, and damn if he isn't opening his legs further. Once again, it crosses his mind about how he should be scared, but somehow just... isn't.]

I remember.

[He glances up, meeting the Psiioniic's eyes.]

Do you... wwant to try again?

[polariity]

[Turning back to the drone, the Psiioniic leans his head down and nudges his head against its own. A few clicks and pets, and the drone is on shaky feet, trotting towards the exit. As it leaves, the Psiioniic begins to crawl back towards Dualscar. His psionics aren't idle; they stroke along the fin on his back and pet the side of his face, indulgent and gentle.]

Would you be ready for it thith time?

[Dualscar almost answers immediately--yes, yes, yes!--but he forces his words down and really thinks about it.]

I think... if you wwent sloww and... and gave me time.... yeah. Yeah, I think I'm ready.

[polariity]

[This time, it's the Psiioniic's real hand that traces against Dualscar's jaw. He kisses him softly and rests their foreheads together. Slow. He can do that. He can do that easily.]

Undreth me firtht, then. Feel free to touch me. If it hurtsth, I'll thtop you, alright?

[badpirattitude]

Uh... okay.

[Dualscar reaches up, his hands shaking just a little, and takes hold of the Psiioniic's tunic, near the collar. He carefully undoes the buttons, the pads of his fingers brushing over smooth gray skin, and his breath quickens in his chest.]

You're... you're so comfortable being naked.

[Is that just the slightest wistful hint in his voice? Nah, probably your imagination.]

I'm jutht uthed to it. You can't afford to be timid when you thare a hive and a recuperacoon, or are traveling all the time.

[There's just a slight shiver as he feels those fingers brush against his skin, and he lightly touches Dualscar's fin with his own.]

You're doing good, 22. You're good.

[badpirattitude]

[Dualscar smirks, just a little, and leans in to kiss the Psiioniic's neck.]

You haven't seen anything yet.

[Emboldened by the compliment, he slides one hand into the Psiioniic's tunic, ghosting his hand over the other troll's chest.]

Oh yeah?

[Adjusting his grip, the Psiioniic arches against that touch and smirks back, eyes half lidded and dimly glowing.]

Tho thow me. Thow me what you can do, 22.

[Laughing softly, he begins to kneed at Dualscar's shoulders.]

[Whoah... laughter. And it's not mean or condescending or the result of some impressive blood splatter. Just genuine, friendly laughter.]

[Dualscar presses his face into the side of the Psiioniic's neck again, breathing deep the scent of the other troll, then licks him, working his tongue over the thin, delicate skin. He remembers biting there before, but now he's just working at it with his lips and tongue. He has to check himself a couple times, when he starts getting more excited and is tempted to bite, but he resists. No hurting this time, he's playing nice.]

[The Psiioniic's tunic doesn't fare quite so well, though, and Dualscar rips it open when one of the buttons doesn't pop free fast enough to suit him.]

[Being treated with that tongue so softly and smoothly over his skin makes the Psiioniic press even closer. It's a wonder that Dualscar can keep his hand on his chest still. Such contact is wonderful, and sorely missed.]

[What isn't missed is the sound of his clothing being torn through. Instead of staying languid and twitching ever closer towards the seadweller's body, he freezes at the sound, fingers utterly still against his shoulders. Unbidden, another memory lurks just barely in reach. Wrists pulled up past his head, a cold wall at his back, a similar and different touch against his chest, tearing through his shirt-]

[The Psiioniic stays very still and just keeps his face pressed against Dualscar's hair.]

[To his credit, Dualscar picks up on the change in the Psiioniic's demeanor, and stops what he's doing. Why is he freezing like that? Why did the crackling energy suddenly waver? Why... oh.]

Shit.

[He keeps his face hidden, but slowly, cautiously moves his hands, taking them off the other troll's chest and wrapping his arms loosely around his waist.]

I'm sorry, I forgot, I... fuck.

[polariity]

It'sth alright.

[No, it's not, not really. The memory still scrapes against his mind, unpleasant and leaving a foul taste on his tongue like blood. It's a reassurance to be held instead of felt, and the Psiioniic wraps his arms around Dualscar's neck. The hands around his waist are treated to that soft energy again, a gentle pressure.]

I'm alright. You can keep going.

[If they stop now, who knows when they'll get another chance?]
